Big week this week. San Diego girls are our guinea pigs for a few new dances. Chantel arrived today to start working with them. Heading there in the next hour.
A few months ago we did a charity event for a former employee and raised a lot of money to go towards her cancer treatment. Last week I found out that she never showed up for the charity event at our Austin bar and never picked up the money. Today Daniel suggested we call MD Anderson and try to pay her bill directly. Not sure how we find out her medical bill situation? The money was raised with the intent to help with a series of cancer treatments for her. It is coming to a point where the money will get donated to someone else in need if she does not step forward. Honestly, I just don’t get it? 1. Was it a false claim? 2. Is pride or shame stopping her from coming in? ( so many people love her) Again, I don’t get it.
