She will definitely be missed.
I came to call her my daughter after being in the bar one Saturday Afternoon. Jes was the Asst. Mgr. at the time, but when I sat down, I sat down next to a man old enough to be my father. Well he was talking rather loudly to his friend (same age) about all the nasties he would like to do to Jes (still icky to this day). Well after about 5 minutes of hearing him, I tapped him on the shoulder and told him, "You DO REALIZE, that is my DAUGHTER you are talking about?" Well of course the guy didn't believe me, but I knew some he didn't so I told him, "ask her who her mama is! Go on ask ask her!" By now he is really thinking hard about maybe he was wrong. I turned around and hollered at Jes, who was at the cash register, and said, "Jes, who is your Mama?" and she replied "You are", just as I knew she would. At that point I turned around and told the old man, "Now that we got that straight, I'll be happy to let you take a body shot off my daughter, but it will cost you a hundred dollars." Unfortunately, he didn't take that bait, but Jes and I laughed about it all evening.
RIP Jes......you are free now
