Statement from CEO on tragedy in South Korea
CEO, Liliana Lovell, “I was shocked when I woke up this morning to hear about the tragedy in a South Korean nightclub that is using my trademark without authorization.
We are deeply saddened by the injuries and loss of life that occurred last night. Our condolences go out to the athletes, the bar patrons and the families of the victims that were hurt or killed in this terrible incident.
Our attorneys are doing everything they can to investigate this incident. At this point, we have no further details other than what has already been reported by the media.”
CEO, Liliana Lovell confirms that the South Korean establishment calling itself “Coyote Ugly Club” has no affiliation with the international bar brand, “Coyote Ugly Saloon”, and they are violating the American brand’s trademark.
