Dera has been here for about 6 months and always comes in on her off time to practice and improve. All of her hard work has paid off, and we are all proud of the Coyote she has become. She continues to try to get better, and people love her. Dera is a team player and always comes to work with a happy, positive personality.

What’s the most fun about your job at Coyote Ugly?
Flirting with women and yelling at grown men

What makes you a good Coyote?
I take my job seriously. Period. It is a big middle finger to the hard working Coyotes and the company when you decide to slack off and mess around.

How long have you been a bartender?
6 months

What do you like to do on your off time?
I enjoy reading the news, writing, playing basketball, and watching Jon Stewart! He’s so funny!

What is your favorite type of music?
Well, when I’m not jamming out to One Direction, I listen to really any genre of mainstream music.

Do you think the movie is anything like the real thing?
I could say, “Yes, definitely!” or “No, it’s better!” but Coyote Ugly is honestly an experience. You have to come in and experience the party for yourself.

Why should a potential customer come and visit you?
Who doesn’t love chocolate?

Do you have any advice for women who want to be a Coyote?
If you want to be a Coyote, you gotta work for it. It is a Coyote’s job to ensure everyone is drinking and having a good time. When you try out, you gotta hop on that bar and keep the customer’s attention. Get CRAZY! Get WILD! Leave all nervousness and doubt at the door, because you will NOT be successful that way. Take ALL the advice you get and do whatever necessary to improve. Be awesome!
