What’s the most fun about your job at Coyote Ugly?
The most fun part of my job is dancing on the bar. Violet had singing as her talent in the movie, I believe my talent is dancing. That being said, dancing being part of my job duties is pretty amazing. I enjoy the choreographed dances as well! It was a pretty iconic moment for me this June, we celebrated the 20th anniversary of Panama City Beach Coyote Ugly. All of the Coyotes were able to do dances together, I felt like we were actually in the movie. This was a unique experience because our Coyotes don’t often get to dance all together, on the bar. We are usually too busy serving or the bar top is full of customers. That experience was very special to me. Being able to tell guys they can’t get up on the bar is another thing I love about my job!

What makes you a good Coyote?
I would say it is a combination of things that makes me a good Coyote: I truly love the place I work, I devote a lot of my time and my full effort into being a Coyote, I’m good at dancing, and I can keep a conversation flowing. I’m not the best singer but I can still sing along to well-known songs. While being nice, I can also stand my ground if someone is being rude or disrespectful. I make delicious drinks, and I can talk people into trying a new shot. I encourage girls to get up on the bar to liven up their night.

How long have you been a bartender?
Coyote Ugly is my first and only bartending experience. On October the 17th it will be the end of my 5th year bartending!

What do you like to do on your off time?
My off-time is filled mostly by my three cats and several feral outdoor cats. I love spending time with them! I also enjoy watching sunsets at the beach, practicing yoga, going to the gym, painting, and going out with my friends.

What is your favorite type of music?
My favorite type of music is EDM, my heart and soul belong to it. Although, before EDM and for over a decade I was a Belieber.

Do you think the movie is anything like the real thing?
I think the movie is a lot like the real thing! Our Coyote Ugly gets crazy busy, like in the movie, so we get to have a huge party. We don’t get to cut off guys’ ponytails (even though I’ve offered), but we mess around with customers a bit. It’s funny watching guys’ jaws drop as they stare at girls dancing on the bar.

Why should a potential customer come and visit you?
Potential customers should come to visit us because we’re fun and they will be able to find something they’ll enjoy! Our Coyote Ugly can offer a range of different experiences. If they come in during the early hours of summertime, we can talk about life and lighthearted topics. People are usually captivated to learn I was born and raised in a different country. If they like big crowds and a party vibe then they are better suited to visit during the night. We are well-known for being the #1 party destination on Panama City Beach. If they come to visit during the colder months, we still have plenty of ways to entertain. We have methods that are unique to that colder part of the year such as a pool table, a punching machine, spinning our wheel, and other games.

Do you have any advice for women who want to be a Coyote?
My advice for a prospective Coyote would be to come in looking good and be yourself! Experience isn’t required, so having a good attitude and energy can be all you need. I’m not saying having experience is bad, but those who are willing and eager to learn will flourish. If you like having fun with a bit of stress then this might be the job for you. Being a Coyote has been a life-changing experience for me and most certainly can be for you too.
